I had a horse when I was younger (Mr Poo Bear to you) or Guy Coulter was his racing name....but he failed as a pacer and I was lucky enough to have many adventures with him and boy he was a character. This horse is somewhat based on him (often a bit of a klutz who would trip over anything) and a horse desperate to rid itself of one of those pesky things called riders.

Construction and materials:

A wire and acrylic polymer horse sculpture. The wire has been wound in a way to show this lilac and purple horse's movement and unpredictability. Layer upon layer of either the lilac or purple was added to the wire body of the horse by dipping and then allowing each layer to dry before re-dipping.
