Lyndsey Hatchwell

Painter, sculptor, print maker and Eco Artist.

A little about me:
I am an unapologetic eclectic multidisciplinary artist, never staying in one "box". I paint in acrylic, oils and watercolor, create my prints using etchings, collographs and linocuts. My sculpting and assemblages cover a multitude of materials including recycled items, building materials as well as all the standard sculpting mediums. I work across many genres such as portraiture, landscape and still life with my main "muse" being nature.

Lyndsey Hatchwell Bio and CV

A third generation artist and sculptor Lyndsey's father introduced her to the world of painting and sculpture when she was young, and she has explored these and other forms of creativity ever since. Lyndsey's range is eclectic, with humour and satire some of her real favourites along with a serious side. Continually experimenting with new mediums, genres and eco art projects, Lyndsey refuses to be catagorised. She has honed her arts practice over many years studying at institutions such The Julian Ashton School of Art, Waikato Polytech and The Sydney Gallery School (Diploma of Fine Art) to name a few. Lyndsey takes inspiration from the day to day machinations of life, years of travel, history, nature and other artists who followed their own paths!

Lyndsey's work has gained a following in Sydney, she has many works in private and public collections here and overseas.
