Ned Turns a Corner

Here Ned is on his horse, roughly pulled to a stop with arms a kilter. Which “corner” will he turn and what fate will arise from that decision. That little window of opportunity or perhaps blinkered response all gleaned through the small letter box slit of his helmet.

Metal banding, pop rivets, fabric, vinylacetate homopolymer, expandable foam, steel, exterior paint.

Ned and his horse have been made to last in the harsh Australian climate. They are lightweight (in comparison to more common materials used in large sculpture) and very low maintenance.

Below are some images of the 'making of Ned'.
