Harry Fransman - Drawing on Memory NSW Parliament House

Drawing on Memory at NSW Parliament House Dec 2014 went very well and we are all pleased that Harry has had the recognition he deserves. His experiences of the Holocaust are powerful and haunting.

Ned Turns a Corner Sculpture in the Vineyards 2014

My "Ned Turns a Corner" has been selected for the 2014 Sculpture in the Vineyards at Wollombi.

Opens Sat 25th October 2014 and the closing night ceremony is on Sat 29th November 2014

Now finished - Westmead Hospital Temporary Exhibition Space was a superb fundraiser for the hospital this year, thank you kindly to all the people who purchased works.

" Drawing on Memory" - an exhibion of commissioned artworks by Holocaust survivor Harry J Fransman. I am one of the artists involved in this amazing project.  Got a lovely surprise on Tuesday night when I won 2nd prize in the Miniature Sculpture section and HC in the Printmaking section at the 2014 Royal Easter Show.

Not your average exhibition!

This is a POLITICALLY CORRECT FREE zone!

It went very well and made lots of people laugh and it was suggested many times that it should be a travelling exhibition! Food for thought.

Yep it's Bald Archy time again. I have two works travelling with the exhibition "Surprise" and "Suppository of Wisdom" 2014

  Westmead Temporary Art Exhibition Space was an enjoyable exhibition (Nov - Jan 2014) Lots of works sold and plenty of lovely comments :) 

 Here is the finished product after the patina, I am very happy with the result. "Don v Windmill".

   

Here is a pic of a bronze of mine...it is Don Quixote after attacking a windmill. He is in a bowl as I am attempting a homemade patina.

  

 Well that is it for my solo exhibition at Eden Gardens - enjoyed the space very much and sold works - always a bonus!

 Well the Kings Art Show went well and my work "Sydney Harbour Unplugged" has found itself a new home!

Well the Temporary Exhibition Space at Westmead Hospital went really well (Dec 2012 - Jan 2013)...lots of works sold by all of us and it was a lovely location to exhibit in. 

 Also my "lovely" Space Quixote won 3rd prize at the Hornsby Art Prize last week...very pleased with that as Space Q is the shy retiring sort!!

The "Bald Archy"  2010. I have had my work "The Curious Case of Kerri - Anne Kennerley selected as a finalist. It started on Friday 5th Feb at the Watson Arts Centre ACT. Here is some of the media.  The painting will travel Australia for approx 8 months.
